The Joy of Photographing Children [Mulvihill Sneak Peek]
As I have been going through the images I have of these amazing kids, this one really stood out for me. Sonoma, the youngest of the three, has such a strong personality but also has an incredibly sensitive side...I have found that her images dominate the shoot, probably because she was SUCH a challenge to capture because even while shooting blind(the camera placed below my vision) she would still flash her signature "cheese" grin....and while I think it is beyond adorable..I try very hard to capture people, especially children, as they are in "rest" or as their parents see them. I absolutly LOVE photographing children because you just never know how it is going to go! Add multiple kids and the challenge and fun all increase!!!!and not to be left out are the very handsome boys, who smiled wonderfully - even if I was second best to the video game console!
Marisol and Kevin - Thank you for allowing me to come into your home and spend a few hours with your wonderful children..They are a joy, hysterical and beyond great kids!
I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!

and as I came across this image - all I could think was "this must be what Amador's life is like with two toddlers as siblings" ! :-)

Faithful [Sneak Peek]
I had the great pleasure of photographing Faithful, a 13yr old best friend.
I spent 90mins playing and capturing images of Faith and her owner, in the comfort of their home and neighborhood. Here is a sneak peek of our session!!!!!
As much as I enjoy capturing images of children and adults alike... there is something very special about attempting to capture the spirit of an animal...especially one that has such a special place in her owners heart and life!
Stay tuned for more! I only have a few hundred more images to edit. LOL

and what shoot is complete without an out-take? :)

What a difference 11 months makes!
We added a sweet new addition to our family at the end of May.
Mackenzie or Baby Mack, Miss Mack, Peanut - as she is often referred by, has changed all of our lives.
She is already a pro in front of a camera and has taught me many new things about photographing children, especially babies!
I think we all have a new focus...Not only providing for our family (which is obviously not new) but making the most out of our jobs, careers and passions. Trying to grow long term sustainable business so that we can enjoy our time as a family, watch our children grow and get to relish in the moments, that we know pass all too quickly.
